Paletti’s ability to combine our products into unique solutions for our customers is un-matched in the industry. With 30+ years of experience and the right products, Paletti can deliver a fully assembled solution right to your door. Smart engineers designed much of our profile framing extrusions, linear actuators, and conveyors with the same 8mm T-Slot which enables us to package them together in unique ways. An excellent example of our ability to provide such custom packages is featured below.

7th axis machinery
This video shows 7th axis robot functionality, where a production robot is being transported between two machines, on one of our linear actuators, to reset components into both between their respective cycles. The system was running at half-speed while the video was being filmed.

How Do 7th Axis Robot-Actuator Systems Work?

A typical 7th Axis Robot-Actuator System is designed to increase robotic production efficiency between 2 or more work stations – an idle Robot is a waste of financial resources. Typically, the robot will be mounted to the carriage on top one (or more) of our linear slide actuators. The robot-actuator combination will then be mounted on an extended pedestal to translate back and forth between two machines / work stations placed opposite one another.

Or, a robot could be mounted on top of one of our multi-axis / gantry systems and move between 3 or more machines / work stations.

7th Axis Robot-Actuator System Features and Benefits:

  • Increases production efficiency and improves cost structures
  • Extends the robot’s operating range
  • Vertical or Horizontal, Upright or Inverted configurations
  • Unlimited application lengths
  • Belt or Screw actuators may be used
  • 7th Axis robot-actuator systems can be combined with our Conveyors, Aluminum Framing, and Protective Fencing
  • T-slot aluminum framing available for the mounting structure
